So as all of you know, I love HALLOWEEN! And becoming a mom, kind of just amplified it to say the least, lol. It does take some planning at times, and sometimes I literally would just throw together costumes from things we have around the house. The thrift store is your BFF though! Whatever I don't find there, I make or try to find the best deal possible. If I spend some money on wigs or accessories, it's because I know I will re-use again for years to come. Sometimes I even sell costumes to buy more, haha! Do what you gotta do, but you certainly don't have to break the bank for family costumes. Don't want to spend loads of money on accessories, then make them out of poster board or cardboard. Don't want to buy a wig-then buy a cheap hair spray paint. Just get creative & I know that's not always easy, but I hope some of these costumes from last year, will inspire you.
